Film Productions was formed in 1999 when
Tracy purchased her first camera, and began doing small wildlife projects
as well as documenting events at a local state park.
Today, MFP is a two person team that make their own films, as well as work with other companies for production. Ben joined MFP in 2003 when Tracy needed in-field support.
Moonfire Film Productions continues to strive for scientific and cinemagraphic excellence in their films. They are part of a new generation of filmmakers educated in both science and cinematography to ensure not only outstanding films, but a scientifically accurate ones as well. In these environmentally uncertain times, up-to-date and clear communication in the media is key. Together we can educate a brighter future.
