MFP is currently working with three local organizations for film production. We are continuing our relationship with the Regional Science Consortium at Presque Isle State Park to produce documentary films on environmental science research taking place at the park and in the upper Ohio River Basin. The first film, completed for the grand opening of the Tom Ridge Environmental Center (TREC) at Presque Isle, is showcased in the lobby on a plasma screen.
The Presque Isle Audubon Society contracted us to complete a documentary about the avian life at the park for their upcoming event: "Festival of the Birds" May 8, 9, & 10th, 2008. The film will premier at the TREC at 6:30pm on May 8th.
MFP is also completing a project with Pennsylvania Sea Grant: "The Zebra and Quagga Mussel Monitoring Network." This instructional film will help train their group of volunteers who help prevent the spread of these invasive species.
