Moonfire Film Productions was formed in 1999 when Tracy purchased her first camera, and began doing small wildlife projects as well as documenting events at a local state park.
Today, MFP is a two person team that make their own films, as well as work with other companies for production. Ben joined MFP in 2003 when Tracy needed in-field support. We have shot in Yellowstone National Park, Algonquin Provincial Park, Presque Isle State Park and various unnamed wild places. Severe cold and severe heat are no match for our patience.
Moonfire Film Productions continues to strive for scientific and cinemagraphic excellence in their films. They are part of a new generation of filmmakers educated in both science and cinematography to ensure not only outstanding films, but a scientifically accurate ones as well. In these environmentally uncertain times, up-to-date and clear communication in the media is key. Together we can educate a brighter future.
